The lady of the store is so nice and friendly. I don’t speak Spanish but she introduced me everything patiently. The bakery is so delicious.

We enjoyed delicious empanadas and nice service. My favourites were lemon&beef, tuna and everything with chicken. Though each of them was delicious. The owner is very welcoming and nice. I even brought some empanadas with me to Germany and my family was very happy about it. I can only recommend this place.

Very small bakery/cafe set back from a busy street. Only a couple of stools available for indoors but fully geared up for takeaway. Fantastic coffee and pastries, very good value. Excellent service from a very kind lady behind the counter. Highly recommend, please visit to keep this business, and others like them, going. The world needs more small, independent operations like this.

Best empanadas I've had in Spain (tried them at some highly rated places in Granada and Sevilla before) and quite reasonably priced at 6.5€ per 3. Only downside is that this being just a small shop, it doesn't have the huge variety that other places like Malvon do. However, if you're happy with the selection on offer - my favourite was the simple meat version - then I believe these taste the best.

Claudia runs a great little shop with fair prices- it is certainly not a tourist trap like other places around this part of town. Her handmade empanadas (especially the humita) were delicious- simply delicious. Claudia was also very warm and welcoming to us in spite of our poor Spanish. I would sincerely recommend La Ventana to anyone staying near the city center of Malaga.

The best empanadas in this area we had so far in Malaga. Nice and cozy place, so glad that we found that on our way home. The owner is super friendly, you feel from the first minute welcome. Muchas gracias!

Inexpensive tasty little warm savoury pasties and other baked goods . Croissant way better than I've tasted elsewhere. Got a coffee and some great food and go sit in Plaza de Merced and watch the world go buy. Polite and helpful proprietress.
Perfect spot to buy coffee, sandwiches and pastries to go. Their coffee is great and I love the peanut butter cookies!

Very delicious, warm empanadas. The owner is very friendly and helped me practice my Spanish a little :) There are vegetarian options as well (with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms)
